District Dictionary Day
Dictionary Day is an annual tradition for Rotary Clubs across the country with all public school 3rd grade students receiving a free softcover dictionary. Rotary Club of Naples North personally hands-out dictionaries at Veterans, Palmetto, and Avalon Elementary Schools. The students love receiving their own book and for many, it is the first book they own. Dictionaries are a great tool in the children’s education. This annual project is a great example of how Rotary gives back to its community.

Shelter for Abused Women and Children Support
Through the years the Naples North Rotary Club has supported many local community efforts.
Near and dear to the hearts of our members is our support of The Shelter for Abused Woman and Children.
We proudly pack over 600 Welcome bags annually for them.
What is a Welcome bag you ask? It is the first step to providing a sense of security to someone just arriving to The Shelter.
Naples North Rotary is passionate about The Shelter whose mission statement is:
“To Prevent. To Protect. To Prevail.”
